From 1983, behold.. Roland's classic TR-909 Drum Machine! Used on countless House & Techno records. Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold cables, into the converters of the original MPC3000 (which many agree.. is the best sounding MPC). Then 'those sounds' are loaded into the 2000XL, for a custom 'fit and configuration' into a native '2000XL Program'. This way, you get the reproduction of an original 909 that utilizes, arguably the best converters, from the MPC series, to offer a rich tonality and dynamic range.
Digital downloadable file includes:
A folder containing a '.txt' instruction file, the '.PGM Program File' along with 42x .SND files (Akai Format Sounds), that you can paste directly onto your MPC's removable media and load into your 2000, or compatible MPC.
Sounds include: 12x Kicks, 7x Snares, 1x Rim Shot, 3x Low Toms, 3x Mid Toms, 3x Hi Toms, 3x Closed Hat, 2x Open Hat, 4x Hand Claps, 1x Crash Cymbal & 1x Ride Cymbal. All cropped and positioned to provide your MPC a realistic 909 experience.
