S3000XL: Alesis HR-16
All 49 percussion sounds from the 1987 Drum Machine debut by Alesis.. the HR-16, which can be spotted on Daft Punk's Homework album!
Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold Cables into the converters of an original MPC3000, which many claim to be, the 'best sounding' MPC.
Those sounds were then loaded into the S3000XL for a custom fit and configuration into a native Akai Program. This way, you're playing original HR16 Drums that utilize, arguably, the best converters in the MPC legacy to offer a rich tone baked into the character of these classic Drum sounds.
