Akai MPC4000: TR909 Kit
From 1983, behold.. Roland's classic TR-909 Drum Machine! Used on countless House & Techno records. Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold cables, into the converters of the original MPC3000 (which many agree.. is the best sounding MPC). Then 'those sounds' are loaded into the 4000, for a custom 'fit and configuration' into a native '4000 Program'. This way, you get the reproduction of an original 909 that utilizes, arguably the best converters, from the MPC legacy, to offer a rich tonality and dynamic range.
Digital downloadable file includes:
A folder containing a '.txt' instruction file, the '.AKP' (Akai Program File) along with 42x WAV files, that you can paste directly onto a USB Drive* and load into your 4000, Z8, Z4 or compatible MPC, such as a Renaissance, MPC5000 etc.
Sounds include: 12x Kicks, 7x Snares, 1x Rim Shot, 3x Low Toms, 3x Mid Toms, 3x Hi Toms, 3x Closed Hat, 2x Open Hat, 4x Hand Claps, 1x Crash Cymbal & 1x Ride Cymbal. All cropped and positioned to provide your MPC a realistic 909 experience.
