Akai MPC4000: TR707 Kit
Roland’s classic drum machine from 1985, the TR-707. Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold cables, into the converters of the original MPC3000 (which many agree.. is the best sounding MPC). Then 'those sounds' are loaded into the 4000, for a custom 'fit and configuration' into a native '4000 Program'. This way, you get the reproduction of an original 707 that utilizes, arguably the best converters, from the MPC series, to offer a rich tonality and dynamic range.
Digital downloadable file includes:
A folder containing a '.txt' instruction file, the '.AKP' (Akai Program File) along with 15x WAV files, that you can paste directly onto a USB Drive* and load into your 4000, Z8, Z4 or compatible MPC, such as a Renaissance, MPC5000 etc.
Sounds include: 2x Kicks, 2x Snares, 1x Low Tom, 1x Mid Tom, 1x Hi Tom, 1x Closed Hat, 1x Open Hat, 1x Hand Clap, 1x Cowbell, 1x Rim Shot, 1x Tambourine, 1x Crash Cymbal & 1x Ride Cymbal. All trimmed and positioned to provide your MPC a realistic 707 experience.
