Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold cables, into the converters of the original MPC3000 (which many agree.. is the best sounding MPC!). Then 'those sounds' are loaded into the 2000XL, for a custom 'fit and configuration' into a native '2000XL Program'. This way, you get the reproduction of an original 808 that utilizes, arguably the best converters, from the MPC series, to offer a rich tonality and dynamic range.
Digital downloadable file includes:
A folder containing a '.txt' instruction file, the '.PGM Program File' along with 32x .SNDs (Akai Format Sounds), that you can paste directly onto your MPC's removable media and load into your 2000, or compatible MPC, via Compact Flash card, SCSI2SD, ZuluSCSI etc.
Sounds include 5x Kicks, 4x Snares, 3x Closed Hats, 3x Open Hats, 4x Cymbals, 1x Rim Shot, 3x Claps, 1x Low Tom, 1x Mid Tom, 1x Hi Tom, 1x Low Conga, 1x Mid Conga, 1x Hi Conga, 1x Cow Bell, 1x Clave and 1x Maraca.. all cropped and optimized to provide your 2000 with a realistic 808 experience.
