Ensoniq ASR-10: TR606 Kit
Roland’s classic analog Drum Machine from 1981 the TR-606! Some call it 'The poor mans 808'.
Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold Cables into the converters of an original MPC3000, which many claim to be, the 'best sounding' MPC.
Then those sounds were loaded into the ASR-10 for a custom fit and configuration into a native ASR-10 Instrument. This way, you're playing an original 606 that utilized, arguably, the best converters in the MPC legacy, for a slightly different sonic signature, to offer a rich tone baked into the character of a classic Drum Machine.

A folder containing a '.txt' instruction file, plus a SCSI image file that you can copy on to your SCSI removable media. Contained within that image, is an ASR Instrument containing 16 individually Sampled sounds 3x Kicks, 3x Snares, 2x Low Toms, 2x Hi Toms, 2x Closed Hats, 1x Semi-Open Hat, 1x Open Hat, 2x Cymbals. All trimmed and positioned to bring a convincing '606' experience to your ASR!
