Logic X Sampler: DX Kit
Oberheim’s classic drum machine from 1980, the DX, the younger brother of the infamous DMX, think Salt n Pepa, Run DMC. Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold cables into the converters of the original Akai MPC3000. Then those sounds 'dumped' into the EXS24, for a custom 'fit and configuration' into a native Logic Pro X 'EXS24 Instrument'. This way, you get a reproduction of an original DX that utilizes the analog to digital converters inside the MPC3000 for a punchier footprint!
