Akai MPC4000: TR909 Kit
Behold, from 1983, Roland's first semi-analog, semi-Sample-based Drum Machine with MIDI, the TR-909! A genre-defining gem used on countless House & Techno records.
Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold Cables into the converters of an original MPC3000, which many claim to be, the 'best sounding' MPC.
Those sounds were then loaded into the MPC4000 for a custom fit and configuration into a native 4000 Program. This way, you're playing an original 909 that utilized, arguably, the best converters in the MPC legacy to offer a rich tone baked into the character of a classic Drum Machine.
