Ableton Sampler: TR626 Kit
Roland's 12-BIT Sample-based TR-626 Drum Machine from 1987. Very much half a TR707, and half TR505, used on many House & Techno record classics.
Meticulously recorded through a Neve 1073 Pre-Amp via Mogami Gold Cables into the converters of an original MPC3000, which many claim to be, the 'best sounding' MPC.
Then those sounds were imported into Ableton for a custom fit and configuration into an Ableton Sampler Instrument. This means, you get a reproduction of an original 626 that utilizes the analog to digital converters inside the MPC3000 for a punchier sonic signature.
